The House investigative committee has published a collection of approximately 70 images obtained from the property of former adjudicated sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

This marks the third such publication from a cache of over 95,000 photographs the panel has secured from Epstein's holdings. It contains photographs of passages from the literary work Lolita inscribed across a woman's body, and redacted pictures of women's international passports.

This release comes hours before the 19th of December due date for the Department of Justice to make public each files associated with its probe into Epstein.

"These photos bring up additional inquiries about exactly what the DOJ has in its holdings," said the Democratic lead of the panel, Robert Garcia.

What is in the Photos Released

Some of the photographs published on this week depict Epstein speaking with academic and activist Noam Chomsky on a personal aircraft; Bill Gates seen alongside a female whose features is censored; Steve Bannon seated at a workstation opposite Epstein, and ex- Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner gathering.

These are the newest wealthy, prominent men to be seen in Epstein property images released by the House Oversight Committee - previously released images also show US President Donald Trump and former president Bill Clinton, as well as director Woody Allen, ex- US treasury secretary Larry Summers, lawyer Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and others.

Appearing in the images is not proof of any illegal activity, and many of the featured men have asserted they were in no way participating in Epstein's criminal activity.

In a statement accompanying the photograph publication, Lawmakers on the US House Oversight Committee stated the Epstein property holders did not supply explanatory details or timings for the photographs.

"Photos were chosen to provide the general populace with clarity into a illustrative selection of the images received from the estate, and to provide understanding into Epstein's network and his profoundly alarming behavior," the statement reads.

The disclosure also includes a number of images of passages from the Vladimir Nabokov novel Lolita written in ink across several locations of a female's body, such as her torso, foot, pelvis, and spine. Lolita recounts the tale of a adolescent who was manipulated by a older literature professor.

A particular passage from the work scrawled across a woman's upper body says, "Lolita's name: the end of the tongue taking a trip of three steps down the palate to tap, at three, on the teeth".

There are also a collection of photos of female identification and identification documents from nations around the world, including Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

The majority of the information on the papers, including names and birth dates, is redacted but the panel indicated in a statement that the passports belong to "individuals whom Jeffrey Epstein and his conspirators were engaging".

Another photo shows Epstein sitting at a desk intimately in the company of three female figures whose identities have been censored - one has her hand on Epstein's chest under his garment, and a second is crouching to view a adjacent laptop. Epstein seems to be assisting the third put on a bracelet.

A further photograph disclosed is a screenshot of digital messages from an unknown sender who claims they have been sent "a number of girls" and are asking for "$one thousand dollars per girl".

Photo Publication Occurs Before DOJ Deadline

The panel has thousands of photos in its custody from the Epstein holdings, which are "both graphic and ordinary," its press release on Thursday explained.

The oversight panel first subpoenaed the property of Epstein, who was found dead in a New York jail in 2019 while pending legal proceedings on charges of sex trafficking crimes, in August.

The photographs and files the Epstein property provided to the committee are distinct from what is often referred to "Epstein-related records". Those are documents within the DOJ's control related to its independent probe into Epstein.

Under the recently passed law, which President Trump enacted last month, the DOJ has until 19 December to release its documents. The extent of what's found in the DOJ's documents is unclear, and it's likely that a large amount of the information will be extensively obscured, comparable to House Oversight Committee releases
