In a surprising crossover event that breaks usual predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The storyline presents a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a clandestine sect.
The adventure centers on "bizarre trials and a fearsome enemy" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

The preview highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser finishes with a dramatic sequence showing a character, likely the captive, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
